Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking an Applications Engineer in Georgia to generate new equipment proposals that meet customer specifications, provide technical support to the sales team, and guide RFQs from inception through budgeting, quoting, and seamless handoff to project management.

You will review RFQs, identify competitive offerings, and prepare budgets and proposals for Pneumatic Conveying & Air Pollution Control products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the design of heavy industrial equipment.
• Prior experience in design and cost-estimating of industrial process equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs and specifications to identify appropriate product offerings to meet the customer's goals.
• Prepare budgets and technical proposals for Pneumatic Conveying & Air Pollution Control products.
• Perform process engineering and equipment sizing calculations for proposals to ensure appropriate sizing and specification for equipment being offered.
• Generate bills of material, estimates, technical datasheets, P&IDs, project schedule and other proposal documents.
