Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking an Engineering Manager in Georgia to lead a team of mechanical design professionals on complex industrial projects. The role combines technical leadership, program execution, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality solutions delivered on time and within budget.

You will guide engineers in detailed 3D modeling, drawing standards, and cross-functional collaboration with project managers and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering leadership or team management experience.
• Proven experience mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering professionals.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD, and Construction Cloud.
• Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with workload planning, resource management, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical design engineers across projects.
• Manage workload distribution, staffing priorities, and resource planning.
• Drive development through coaching, training, and performance support.
• Promote collaboration and best practices across engineering locations.
• Oversee 3D models, drawings, and design delivery to meet specs and schedule.
• Support project execution with technical guidance and problem-solving.
