Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Industrial & Automation Maintenance Manager for a leading industrial manufacturing organization in Pennsylvania. This full-time role focuses on maximizing uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement across complex manufacturing systems, including conveyors and automation equipment.

You will oversee maintenance operations, lead a team of technicians, develop preventative programs, manage budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards while staying current with automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in industrial maintenance/automation with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI, conveyors.

We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Industrial and Automation Maintenance Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary, benefits, and the opportunity to work with a diverse and dedicated team of professionals. Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all maintenance and repair activities for industrial and automated equipment, including conveyors, to ensure maximum operational efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
• Supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support as necessary.
• Collaborate with other department managers to optimize maintenance strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Monitor equipment and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.
• Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and trends in industrial maintenance and automation, and recommend upgrades or improvements as necessary.
• Oversee fabrication and welding tasks, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience with PLC's, SCADA, HMI, Automation, conveyors, preventative maintenance, fabrication, and welding.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and automation systems, including their functions, maintenance requirements, and common issues.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment and system issues.
• Ability to develop and implement effective maintenance programs and strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical team members.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
