Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Industrial Engineering Analytics Engineer to translate capacity, labor, material flow, PFEP and cost into actionable factory plans. You will build and maintain models for capacity, OEE, yield, scrap and COGS, perform scenario planning and ROI analyses, and support factory layout and production strategy with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in industrial engineering analytics or related discipline.
• Experience building capacity and labor models from the ground up.
• Expertise in OEE modeling (availability, performance, quality).
• Advanced Excel, Python, SQL and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience with ROI/IRR/NPV and cost-benefit analyses.
• Knowledge of COGS modeling and scrap reduction.
• Experience with factory simulation tools (FlexSim/AnyLogic/Simio).
• Strong communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated industrial engineering models linking capacity, labor, material flow, PFEP and cost.
• Build and maintain models for capacity, OEE, yield, scrap and COGS to drive efficiency.
• Perform bottleneck analysis, scenario planning, sensitivity studies and capacity expansions.
• Create business cases for capital investments (ROI, IRR, NPV).
• Support factory layout, site planning, material flow optimization and production strategy.
• Develop factory simulation models to analyze throughput and system performance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, MES and Controls.
• Design scalable data models, dashboards and analytics systems for visibility.
• Implement AI-driven analytics and automated reporting to enhance performance.
• Present complex findings and recommendations to leadership.
