Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Auburndale, FL is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician II to maintain and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and HVAC systems in our beverage plant. You will work with a skilled team focused on safety, reliability, and quality as you support production continuity.

Requires 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, CIRO certification within six months, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial plant maintenance experience involving anhydrous ammonia refrigeration and/or HVAC systems.
• CIRO certification or higher within six months of hire.
• Experience with boilers, compressed air (up to 600 PSI), wastewater treatment, RO and nano-filtration.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and equipment specifications.
• Must pass safety tests and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at height.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot plant ammonia refrigeration systems with safety and reliability in mind.
• Maintain and repair boilers, condensate return systems, and steam distribution networks for production needs.
• Operate and troubleshoot water treatment including nano- and RO filtration technologies.
• Maintain compressed air systems up to 600 psi with stable pressure and purity.
• Support HVAC, exhaust, and make-up air equipment for climate control and air quality.
• Uphold safety, participate in PSM, and engage with Hazardous Chemical Response Team.
• Use CMMS for work orders, history, and labor documentation; train peers as needed.
