Frontier AI Lab is seeking a Senior Machinist / Construction & Field Ops Lead for a remote contractor role in the United States. You will review machining drawings, interpret GD&T, assess CNC setup, and provide practical feedback on drilling, mine, and building plans with emphasis on safety and regulatory alignment.

Strong written and verbal communication is essential, with extensive experience in relevant field domains to guide AI training inputs and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as master machinist, construction superintendent, drilling engineer, mine planner, cabinetmaker, or fire officer.
• Comprehensive understanding of US construction, fire, or mining codes and standards.
• Expertise in CNC programming, machining processes, and GD&T application.
• Ability to analyze and explain complex field or shop scenarios in written and verbal formats.
• Experience reviewing fire and building plans with safety and regulatory focus.

Responsabilités

• Review and interpret advanced machining drawings and GD&T specifications to provide detailed, real-world feedback.
• Analyze CNC setup and programming documentation, offering insights into best practices and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate construction plan sheets, identifying issues or clarity improvements based on field experience.
• Interpret drilling and mine plans, assessing accuracy, feasibility, and regulatory considerations.
• Conduct fire and building plan reviews to ensure safety and compliance in recommendations.
• Produce precise written and verbal explanations regarding technical concepts and field implementation.
• Contribute domain-specific expertise to ensure project outcomes are grounded in real-world practices.
