Elios, Inc. is seeking a Head of AI to own AI end-to-end, report to the CEO, and build a high-impact team. The role combines strategy, governance, and hands-on leadership to turn scattered AI work into a cohesive operating capability.

You will set the AI strategy through 2027, hire the team, and decide what to build, buy, or stop. Expect close collaboration with product and operations in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading AI, ML, or data science teams with hiring/orga design.
• A track record shipping large-scale initiatives in fast-moving companies.
• Hands-on fluency with modern AI, production ML systems, and MLOps.
• Business judgment linking technical decisions to customer value and revenue.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/AI/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the company's AI strategy aligned to product roadmap and revenue through 2027.
• Build and lead AI org across ML Eng, ML research, and AI Eng, including hiring and leveling.
• Stand up operating system for AI: intake, prioritization, evaluation, governance.
• Direct evolution of physics-based anomaly detection and reliability models.
• Collaborate with Product, GTM, Customer Success and Ops to identify AI applications.
• Set metrics showing AI impact and report to the executive team.
