Job summary

Cognite is seeking a technically skilled pre-sales engineer to partner with Account Executives in Houston and beyond. You will drive fast AI prototyping and deliver live demos of Cognite Atlas AI and Data Fusion to industrial clients.

You will translate field feedback into product requirements and help shape solutions for a data-driven future in industries such as energy and manufacturing. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pre-sales or forward-deployed engineering in enterprise SaaS.
• Strong foundation in Python and GenAI concepts (embeddings, RAG, prompt chaining).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to engage on-site with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements and demos for industrial clients.
• Design and prototype industrial agents using Atlas AI and Cognite Data Fusion.
• Translate field feedback into actionable product requirements and scalable best practices.
