DEKALB PARK DISTRICT IL is seeking a Soccer Program Coordinator to organize and manage its indoor youth and adult soccer program at the SRC in DeKalb.

The role includes recruiting teams, creating schedules, coordinating referees, registering players, communicating with coaches and parents, and ensuring safety and customer service standards. Part-time, non-exempt, $18.00–$25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience leading youth/adult soccer leagues.
• Knowledge of soccer rules and game operations.
• Ability to interact professionally with patrons.
• CPR and AED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and form teams and leagues, create schedules, recruit referees.
• Organize registration and develop rosters and lists.
• Communicate rosters, schedules and league rules to coaches and teams.
• Be visible at games; monitor play and manage games.
• Open/close facility; inspect field and equipment for hazards.
• Communicate with coaches, referees, parents, and staff.
• Enforce league rules; fill in as referee when needed.
• Notify superiors of incidents or disruptions.
• Work with marketing to promote leagues and update websites.
• Support customer service standards.
• Assist with emergency procedures and first aid.
• Complete incident reports per safety policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
