Job summary

DeKalb Park District is seeking a Soccer Program Coordinator for the indoor youth and adult soccer program at the SRC in DeKalb, IL. This part-time, non-exempt position requires hands-on operations and strong organizational skills.

The coordinator will recruit teams, develop schedules, register players, and liaise with coaches, referees, and facility staff to ensure safe and enjoyable league play. Evening and weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or older.
• 2–4 years of experience leading and managing youth and/or adult soccer leagues.
• Knowledge of soccer rules and regulations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and form teams and leagues; create schedules.
• Coordinate program registration and develop rosters and team/league lists.
• Communicate rosters, schedules, league rules and other essential information to coaches and teams.
• Be visible and available to coaches, referees, and participants during games; monitor league play and manage games.
