Job summary

CRH Americas Materials Inc. is seeking an Indirect Tax Technology Manager to optimize tax platforms and determination processes. You will liaise between Tax, IT, Finance and business units to ensure compliant, well-configured tax systems, including Vertex O Series, Vertex Indirect Tax Accelerator, and SAP.

The role requires 3+ years in indirect tax/tech, SAP exposure, strong data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work setup with transition in office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of indirect tax, tax technology, ERP systems experience.
• Experience with Vertex O Series is required.
• Understanding of Sales & Use Tax concepts and tax determination processes.
• Experience with system testing, configuration management, and data analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Vertex O Series, Vertex Indirect Tax Accelerator, and related indirect tax applications.
• Maintain tax determination rules, taxability matrices, jurisdiction assignments, exemption configurations, and legal entity structures.
• Monitor and support tax content updates, system upgrades, and application maintenance activities.
• Perform routine reviews of tax engine performance and accuracy.
• Ensure tax systems operate effectively across multiple business units and jurisdictions.
• ERP & System Integration: support SAP and other ERP tax configurations; assist with integrations and testing.
