Qualifikationen

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Business, or related field required.
• CPA/CMI/JD/MST or equivalent advanced credential preferred.
• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in indirect tax in a large, multi-state, multi-entity business.
• Experience with Vertex or similar tax engine and ERP integrations; exemption platforms and tax governance.
• Experience supporting M&A, business integrations, legal-entity changes, and system migrations.

Aufgaben

• Leads the indirect tax function across all White Cap businesses, entities, systems, and jurisdictions and sets strategy, priorities, and operating model for compliance, audits, technology, and integration support.
• Oversees high-volume sales and use tax compliance processes, including returns, payments, reconciliations, and controls with governance over related activities.
• Drives adoption and optimization of tax technology solutions and leads indirect tax technology strategy.
• Provides senior leadership for acquisitions, integrations, entity mergers, and system changes and assesses tax implications.
• Leads strategy and oversight for audits of sales and use tax, property tax, and other indirect taxes.
• Oversees exemption certificate strategy, processes, systems, controls, and platform implementation for scalability.
