Job summary

CDW's Finance organization is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to lead the indirect tax function for US entities, driving compliance, strategy and analytics that inform business decisions.

You will manage a team of tax professionals, oversee filings for sales/use tax, gross receipts, property tax, unclaimed property and other duties, and partner with senior leadership to defend positions in audits and optimize tax outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years indirect tax experience.
• Experience leading a tax team and communicating with senior leadership.
• Strong analytical and strategic mindset.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of tax professionals in indirect tax compliance and accounting for US entities.
• Manage tax compliance filings for sales/use tax, gross receipts, property tax, unclaimed property and licenses.
• Lead corporate indirect tax audit defense and support positions prospectively and during audits.
• Propose and enable strategies to lessen the corporate indirect tax burden and its accounting impact.
• Partner with a cross-functional team on technology transformation initiatives to meet indirect tax needs.
• Mentor team members and build bench for succession planning, growth, and scalability.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve data quality.
