Atrium Staffing LLC is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to lead multi-state sales and use tax compliance, tax technology systems, and process improvements for a growing organization. You will oversee tax filings, nexus, exemptions, and audits while partnering with IT and business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes team leadership, system enhancements, and control improvements, with exposure to Vertex O Series and SAP configurations. Bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of indirect tax experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Sales & Use Tax and multi-state compliance.
• Experience with Vertex O Series and large ERP environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee U.S. multi-state Sales & Use Tax compliance, including return reviews, filings, payments, and reconciliations.
• Maintain Vertex tax systems and SAP configurations, including taxability rules, exemption certificates, nexus, and jurisdiction settings.
• Partner with IT and business teams on system enhancements, testing, automation, and process improvements.
• Support property tax compliance, tax notices, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor tax law changes, assess compliance risks, and maintain documentation and internal controls.
• Advise business stakeholders on taxability, exemptions, and indirect tax implications.
• Lead team development, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Standardize tax processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
