Job summary

WPP is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to support the North American SSC, coordinating monthly, quarterly and annual filings across multiple agencies. You will streamline tax processes, leverage ONESOURCE, and collaborate with offshore teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.

You will train and mentor India-based tax staff, engage with stakeholders across Finance and IT, and drive improvements to control frameworks while upholding WPP policies and timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in public accounting with Indirect/Sales & Use Tax.
• Experience implementing and/or using a Tax Engine (preferably ONESOURCE).
• Strong knowledge of journal entries for indirect tax.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings for multiple business units.
• Work with offshore team to ensure timely tax reporting and related entries (Sales & Use, B&O, property tax).
• Lead tax planning and technology projects across Finance and IT.
• Document processes, SOPs, and ensure tax compliance with WPP policies.
• Train and oversee India-based tax accountants for accuracy and timeliness.
