Job summary

The Indirect Sourcing Analyst II at Ahold Delhaize USA is a key contributor to our strategic sourcing organization, driving cost optimization across a $5B Not For Resale spend. You will support strategic planning and lead tactical execution, aligning with business goals and total cost of ownership principles.

Our hybrid schedule includes 3 in-person days at our core locations (Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA; Scarborough, ME; Carlisle, PA) and 2 remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing events with knowledge of strategic sourcing steps, tools, and templates; collaborate with senior team members when needed
• Source and clean data to build accurate historical/baseline analysis using Spend Analytics Platform and internal systems
• Develop award scenarios and analyze bid outcomes using total cost of ownership methodology
• Apply negotiation tactics and determine event strategies to deliver favorable supplier outcomes
• Lead 10+ full‑sourcing projects annually in alignment with cost savings targets
• Build stakeholder relationships with intermediate‑level influence and trusted guidance
• Benchmark performance and savings across local, domestic, and global sourcing initiatives
• Help evolve the team's capabilities through best practices in analytics, supplier management, and sourcing technology
