Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an Indirect Sourcing Analyst II to drive cost optimization across a $5B Not For Resale spend. The role supports strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivers tactical execution using total cost of ownership principles.

Our hybrid schedule includes 3 in-person days at core locations (Quincy, MA among others) and 2 remote days; travel up to 10% is required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing events with knowledge of strategic sourcing steps, tools, and templates; collaborate with senior team members when needed
• Source and clean data to build accurate historical/baseline analysis using Spend Analytics Platform and internal systems
• Develop award scenarios and analyze bid outcomes using total cost of ownership methodology
• Apply negotiation tactics and determine event strategies to deliver favorable supplier outcomes
• Lead 10+ full-sourcing projects annually in alignment with cost savings targets
• Build stakeholder relationships with intermediate-level influence and trusted guidance
• Benchmark performance and savings across local, domestic, and global sourcing initiatives
• Help evolve the team's capabilities through best practices in analytics, supplier management, and sourcing technology
