Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an Indirect Sourcing Analyst II to drive cost optimization for a multi-billion dollar Not For Resale spend. The role focuses on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and TAC (total cost of ownership) driven sourcing initiatives across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing events with knowledge of strategic sourcing steps, tools, and templates; collaborate with senior team members when needed.
• Source and clean data to build accurate historical/baseline analysis using Spend Analytics Platform and internal systems.
• Develop award scenarios and analyze bid outcomes using total cost of ownership methodology.
• Apply negotiation tactics and determine event strategies to deliver favorable supplier outcomes.
• Lead 10+ full-sourcing projects annually in alignment with cost savings targets.
• Build stakeholder relationships with intermediate-level influence and trusted guidance.
• Benchmark performance and savings across local, domestic, and global sourcing initiatives.
• Help evolve the team's capabilities through best practices in analytics, supplier management, and sourcing technology.
