Job summary

Niterra North America, Inc. is seeking a Buyer/Procurement Specialist to manage the full procurement cycle at our West Virginia facility. The role focuses on generating requisitions, bidding, negotiating terms, and ensuring on-time delivery while upholding company purchasing procedures.

The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with 1–3 years of relevant experience and SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with MS Office required.
• Strong negotiation and purchasing skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• 1–3 years of purchasing, accounting, or inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with procurement in SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate and validate purchase requisitions; develop and solicit bids; analyze bids; negotiate prices and terms; monitor delivery; maintain records.
• Convert requisitions into purchase orders in the SAP system.
• Evaluate supplier reliability and performance.
• Coordinate procurements to meet dates and prepare support documentation.
• Conduct major procurement negotiations on terms, pricing, and schedules.
• Follow up and negotiate changes related to delivery and supplier performance.
• Support operations by delivering value through suppliers and cost control.
