- Lead indirect procurement operations, development, strategy deployment, and supply base management for North America
- Own regional execution of global category strategies
- Deliver measurable reductions in total cost of ownership, process improvement, and supplier base consolidation
- Develop and deploy category strategies across MRO, Facilities Services, Travel, HR/Personnel, Marketing & Communications, and Professional Services
- Lead cross-functional category teams and steering groups
- Conduct supply market analysis and supplier segmentation
- Identify, qualify, and negotiate with new and cost-competitive suppliers
- Own annual cost reduction and cost avoidance targets
- Drive specification and demand management, total delivered cost improvements, and improved commercial terms
- Lead competitive bidding, e-auctions, should-cost analysis, and total-cost modeling
- Build and validate savings business cases with Finance
- Manage the full contract lifecycle
- Run supplier performance management, business reviews, corrective actions, and escalations
- Develop supplier quality, HSE, sustainability, and Supplier Code of Conduct coverage
- Lead source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay process improvements
- Increase PO coverage, catalog and punch-out adoption, spend-plan usage, and guided buying
- Deliver end-user training and change management
- Improve supplier and item master data quality
- Promote analytics and AI-enabled tools for spend visibility and sourcing execution
- Administer regional procurement systems and support purchasing end users
- Monitor deliveries and supplier order execution
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, approval controls, and internal controls
- Build relationships with site leadership and HR, Finance, HSE, Legal, IT, and Marketing stakeholders
- Represent North America in global category teams and the Indirect Procurement Council
- Communicate results, insights, market intelligence, and recommendations to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressive strategic and tactical sourcing experience
- At least 5 years in indirect procurement
- Demonstrated, quantifiable track record managing MRO, Facilities Services, Travel, HR/Personnel, Marketing & Communications, and Professional Services categories
- Multi-category breadth combined with category management maturity
- Proven delivery of TCO reduction and validated cost savings in a multi-site North American environment
- Demonstrated success reducing supplier count and managing tail spend without service disruption
- Strong negotiation and contract management capability across services and goods, including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and rate cards
- Working knowledge of P2P/S2C systems such as Basware, SAP, Coupa, Ariba, or equivalent
- Advanced analytical skills, including Excel-based cost modeling and spend analysis
- Project management experience leading multi-workstream sourcing programs
- Ability to lead supplier relationships and manage internal stakeholders by challenging demand
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to travel domestically as required
- Preferred: experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineered-products environments
- Preferred: experience in a global matrix organization
- Preferred: contingent workforce program experience
- Preferred: familiarity with facilities energy and utility procurement in deregulated U.S. markets
- Preferred: professional certification such as CPSM, CPSD, or C.P.M.
- Preferred: advanced degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain)
