Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead category strategies and complex sourcing initiatives across multiple spend areas.
• Develop and execute category strategies, including multi-year roadmaps and sourcing pipelines.
• Conduct advanced spend, market, and supplier analyses to identify consolidation opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing events, including bid strategy, stakeholder alignment, commercial modeling, risk mitigation, performance, quality, and supplier negotiations.
• Structure and manage preferred supplier programs, framework agreements, and MSAs.
• Establish category governance and supplier performance routines, including scorecards, corrective actions, business reviews, and risk mitigation plans.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Risk to drive program adoption, compliance, and escalation resolution.
• Develop and deliver category performance reporting covering financial impact, service performance, and supplier compliance trends.

• Develop and execute category strategies, including multi-year roadmaps and sourcing pipelines


• Conduct advanced spend, market, and supplier analyses to identify consolidation opportunities, standardization pathways, and strategic partnerships


• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing events, including bid strategy, stakeholder alignment, commercial modeling, risk mitigation, performance, quality, and supplier negotiations


• Structure and manage preferred supplier programs, framework agreements, and master service agreements (MSAs)


• Establish category governance and supplier performance routines, including scorecards, corrective actions, business reviews, and risk mitigation plans


• Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Risk stakeholders to drive program adoption, compliance, and resolution of escalated supplier issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required


• 5-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, or supply chain operations required


• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and influencing cross-functional stakeholders required


• Experience supporting construction, material distribution, or project-based sourcing environments preferred

Demonstrates expertise in strategic sourcing and category management, with a strong focus on developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving compliance across cross-functional teams. Proficient in conducting advanced analyses to optimize supplier performance and mitigate risks.
