Job Title: Indirect Procurement Analyst

Department: Guidance - Procurement

Location: Oakland, CA (100% Remote; preference for lower-cost (Zone B/C) areas over higher-cost (Zone A))

Duration: 09 Months

Pay Rate Range: $35/hr - $37/hr on W2

Duties:

1. Review and approve Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Change Order submissions via Oracle Cloud ERP system.
2. Manage all PRs and Purchase Orders (POs) throughout their lifecycle.
3. Understand procurement processes and policies to guide internal stakeholders.
4. Perform routine PO maintenance, including ownership transfer and closing expired POs.
5. Coordinate roles within the procurement team to direct internal customers appropriately.
6. Interpret commercial terms within supplier agreements.
7. Identify and document non-compliant purchasing activities.
8. Assist in monitoring and resolving tickets in the Procurement Help Desk.
9. Respond promptly to internal customers and partners, resolving issues within SLAs.
10. Provide high-quality customer service to stakeholders.
11. Compile, validate, analyze, and present reporting data.
12. Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
13. Create and distribute internal resource guides.
14. Work with IT to develop technical specifications for purchasing needs.
15. Support ad-hoc projects and monitor progress against goals.

Skills:

• Experience with indirect procurement categories (e.g., Professional Services, Marketing, SaaS).
• Ability to operate effectively amidst ambiguity, following documented processes and policies.
• Proficiency with the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process, especially PR/PO lifecycle management.
• Experience with procurement systems such as Oracle Cloud, JIRA, and CLM tools.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting coding for POs.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships.
• Track record of delivering quality customer service and guiding stakeholders.
• Forecast procurement needs and set stakeholder expectations.
• Effective multitasking and time management skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and accountable approach.
• Multilingual skills (Cantonese/Mandarin, French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish) are a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree plus at least 4 years of experience as an indirect procurement analyst or buyer.
