Job description

The Sourcing & Procurement Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the CONMED Global Strategic Sourcing Organization offers best-in-class business analytical support to our internal business partners. We are seeking someone with a high analytical aptitude, who loves problem-solving, thrives in a cross-functional working environment, and has a strong desire to work with multiple stakeholders (e.g., Sourcing Managers, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Commercial teams).

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain relevant analytics associated with supplier spend analytics, risk management, cost savings performance, project status, pricing management, go-to-market analysis, RFP generation and maintenance, procurement compliance, supplier performance management, supplier onboarding, financial reporting and category strategy development.

  • Tool Development: Implement systems and analytics tools to enhance spend data transparency (e.g., Power BI dashboards).

  • Business Process Management: Facilitate the execution of established Strategic Sourcing business processes.

  • Procurement Compliance: Support the design and development of procurement compliance programs that align with organizational objectives and business strategies.

  • Ensures data quality, harmonization, and consolidation. Conduct error analysis and implement corrective actions for faulty master data.

  • Collaborate with Sourcing and Inventory & Planning on order and invoice data structuring for direct and indirect demands.

  • Establish external database access to maintain continuous availability of market intelligence data (e.g., indices).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in master data management (preferably in medical device or biopharma industries) or analytics in a broader field.

  • Remote with up to 30% travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).

  • Strong analytical mindset with a high degree of accuracy, quality and accountability.

  • Structured working methods and ability to work autonomously.

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and data management.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong people, presentation and persuasion skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI.

Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $64,000-$99,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
