Daikin Group is seeking a MGR COMMODITY (Indirect - HR) in Waller, TX, onsite. You will lead indirect category strategies, manage a team of buyers, and direct negotiations with suppliers to drive cost reductions.

The role requires 5+ years in commodity management and leadership, with strong cross-functional collaboration across HR, IT, Finance, and Operations. Travel may be involved; this is a full-time, on-site position with Daikin Group.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years in Commodity Management or Strategic Sourcing in high-volume manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute short- and long-term category strategies for assigned indirect categories.
• Lead a team of buyers, providing direction and performance guidance.
• Lead commercial strategy for negotiations.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance including QBRs.
• Create category strategy documents and 3–5 year growth playbooks.
• Identify cost savings projects and sustain year-over-year productivity.
• Oversee weekly executive reports on cost-down initiatives.
• Handle supplier contracts execution and reporting.
• Support global synergy efforts for Indirect materials.
• Conduct voice-of-the-customer reviews with cross-functional leadership.
• Create a preferred supplier list with established rates.
• Participate in additional projects to meet business needs.
