Job summary

ChemTreat, a Veralto company, is seeking a Category Manager – Indirect to lead strategy, governance and savings across North American indirect spend. Based in Glen Allen, VA, this on-site role partners with Finance and business stakeholders to design category plans, drive cost reduction, and build a robust savings pipeline.

You will manage a future Indirect Sourcing Specialist, oversee iBuy, ensure procurement compliance, and advance diversity, sustainability, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 7+ years in Procurement, Sourcing, or related function.
• Experience developing category strategies and achieving cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Develop indirect spend strategies across categories (Travel, Fleet, Marketing, HR, IT, Facilities, etc.).
• Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize value.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost, service, quality, and sustainability.
• Manage and develop the Indirect Sourcing Specialist and ensure project ownership.
• Oversee iBuy platform usage, compliance, and spend visibility.
• Collaborate with Finance to forecast savings and financial impact.
