Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company seeks a Buyer to support indirect and production programs in Graham, KY. This role reports to the Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Manager and involves sourcing, supplier qualification, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.

You will collaborate with Proposal Engineers and Development teams while maintaining compliance with FAR/DFARS and CPSR requirements. Strong MS Office and ERP/MRP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Finance or Business.
• 2–5 years tactical purchasing or related experience in Aerospace & Defense.
• FAR/DFARS and related government procurement documentation knowledge.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel 0–10%.

Responsibilities

• Procures indirect and direct materials and services for Graham, KY operations and engineering teams.
• Creates and manages supplier RFQs, Purchase Orders and supply Kanban processes.
• Assesses supplier capability, conducts sourcing, negotiations, and on-time delivery planning.
• Supports proposals with procurement inputs and ensures regulatory compliance for purchasing and transport.
