Job summary

The Center for Indigenous Health Research and Policy at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences seeks a qualified researcher to coordinate a major project portfolio. You will design data collection strategies, manage data, and liaise with collaborating agencies to advance Indigenous health research.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple studies, recruiting human subjects, preparing IRB submissions, and monitoring budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health sciences, public health, or related discipline.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible related professional research experience.
• Possession of a current driver’s license by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a major research project or several smaller projects within the Center for Indigenous Health Research and Policy.
• Develop research designs, data collection methods, and data management strategies.
• Coordinate data collection efforts, including collaboration with partner agencies or institutions.
• Recruit or oversee recruitment and interviewing of human subjects and prepare IRB documents.
• Prepare progress reports and proposals, monitor budgets, and liaise with partners and funders.
• Oversee research staff and hourly assistants as directed by supervisor.
