Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating proposals, managing data collection, overseeing IRB protocols, and balancing project timelines with available resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Science, Psychology, Public Health, Health and Exercise Science, Human Development or related health/social science discipline.
• Experience in a research laboratory or clinical research environment (minimum 1 year).
• Experience with research regulations such as IRB protocols.
• Strong communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Proposal coordination: assist with literature reviews, budgets, biosketches, and submission deadlines across multiple PIs.
• Study coordination: manage daily data collection, recruitment, screening, and scheduling for active human-subject studies.
• Data management: oversee data entry, QA, and secure storage in REDCap/Qualtrics.
• Regulatory compliance: draft and submit IRB protocols, continuing reviews, and amendments.
• Research operations: coordinate supplies, equipment maintenance, and track expenditures.
• Team supervision: train and monitor daily tasks of student research assistants.
• Decision making: set priorities, workflows, and resources for grant submissions and projects.
