Job summary

Butler, Fairman and Seufert (BF&S) seeks a Construction Project Supervisor to support our Merrillville, Indiana office. This role serves as an owner’s representative on local and federally funded projects, providing inspection oversight and high-level project management.

The successful candidate will lead project meetings, review contract documents, and manage a team of inspectors. INDOT records delivery and adherence to QC/QA procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of Algebraic concepts
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations
• Ability to follow company QC/QA procedures
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Proficient at contract document review, interpretation, and understanding. Able to give directions to staff and reply to contractors on project troubleshooting.
• Lead, organize, communicate, and summarize construction project meetings.
• Deliver INDOT final construction records and comply with INDOT processes.
• Capable of leading large projects and a team of inspectors.
• Data entry and review of others work in INDOT Sitemanager/Aashtoware.
• Efficient at basic software such as Excel and Word.
• Communicate project details to the owner.
