Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily kitchen operations and lead the culinary team in your assigned area
  • Execute daily food service, ensure quality, technique, portion control, presentation, and food cost management
  • Ensure production processes, quality standards, and deadlines are met
  • Identify and implement new culinary techniques and presentations
  • Train, manage, develop, and evaluate culinary staff performance
  • Understand and align with the company's goals, culture, and challenges
  • Maintain credibility through professional qualifications, experience, leadership, and efficiency
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, practices, and regulations
  • Provide coaching and training to support staff
  • Conduct meetings with Union Representatives as needed
  • Create and maintain reports for management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in high-volume, full-service kitchens
  • Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of current catering industry trends
