We are hiring immediately for a full-time DELI COOK position.

Location: Wellington - 280 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210. Note: online applications accepted only.

Requirements: Prior culinary experience and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food items per recipes to meet schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Use established procedures during service, maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness, store excess food safely.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms organized.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist with production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Report maintenance issues immediately.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Follow safety standards including HACCP, proper glove and equipment use, and safe lifting techniques.
