Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking an Index Sales Account Manager to drive commercial success across a portfolio of index clients in a high-paced environment. You will work closely with Relationship Managers to maximize adoption, retention, and revenue while solving complex investment challenges using Bloomberg Index solutions.

You will interact with senior decision makers, demonstrate Bloomberg Index methodologies, and collaborate with Product, Engineering and Marketing to deliver integrated client

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing commercial role supporting institutional investors.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, benchmarks, indices, or institutional investment workflows.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding business objectives.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial success of a portfolio of clients by driving adoption, retention, and revenue growth.
• Build trusted relationships with key decision makers and understand investment objectives and workflows.
• Execute strategic account plans to increase wallet share and expand Bloomberg's footprint.
• Conduct consultative discussions on index methodologies and investment applications with product demonstrations.
• Identify opportunities/risks and develop strategies to grow existing business.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of institutional investment trends and benchmark applications.
• Represent Bloomberg at client meetings and industry events to strengthen relationships.
