Job summary

LSEG's FTSE Russell seeks a Manager to lead Index Research & Design with a technology and AI focus in New York. You will partner with research, engineering, and product teams to design scalable index solutions and embed AI-driven capabilities.

You will translate research into production-ready workflows on cloud platforms (AWS), develop analytical tools, and help launch new index products, while communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in equity or index research.
• Strong Python and data-intensive analytics experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Interest in AI/LLM tools for research workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering to translate index designs into production solutions on cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS).
• Drive the integration of AI/LLM capabilities into research workflows, analytics, and product development processes.
• Contribute to the development of new index products, from feasibility through to implementation and launch.
• Develop analytical tools, frameworks, and processes that improve scalability, efficiency, and reproducibility of research.
