Job summary

FTSE Russell, a part of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), seeks a Senior Manager for Index Research & Design with a technology and AI focus. You will shape next‑gen index research, product development, and tech-enabled capabilities across engineering, research, and product teams.

You will drive AI/LLM integration into research workflows, develop scalable analytical tools, and contribute to new index products from feasibility to launch.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in equity research or index research/quantitative roles.
• Strong Python and data‑intensive analysis background.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Curiosity and practical exposure to AI/LLM tools in research or workflow automation.
• Proven track record translating research into scalable outputs and products.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience operating in a multi‑functional, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering to translate index designs and research into scalable, production‑ready solutions on cloud platforms (AWS).
• Drive the integration of AI/LLM capabilities into research workflows and product development processes.
• Contribute to development of new index products from feasibility to launch.
• Develop analytical tools and frameworks to improve scalability, efficiency, and reproducibility of research.
