Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange is hiring an Index Analyst in New York to support data collection, validation and analysis for index products. You will assist senior colleagues, ensure accurate intraday and end-of-day index values, and help deliver index product files to clients.

The role requires strong Excel skills, Python and Visual Basic macros, and fluent English. You will collaborate on globalization efforts, integrate legacy products onto new tech, validate corporate actions, and prepare

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in mathematics, finance or sciences.
• 2+ years in financial or market data preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with Office Suite required.
• Experience with Python and Visual Basic macros is essential.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in calculating and publishing index values end of day and intraday.
• Support globalization efforts for equity index coverage.
• Help migrate products to a new technology stack.
• Research corporate actions affecting index constituents.
• Maintain production quality and onboard new indices and processes.
• Verify pricing and analytics data; handle exceptions.
• Prepare report templates with charts and data tables.
• Respond to client inquiries and support ad-hoc analyses.
