Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking an entry-level index analyst to support the ICE Data Indices business.

You will assist senior colleagues in collecting, validating and analyzing market and index data to support development and maintenance and to respond to client inquiries. In this role you will help ensure accurate index calculations, publish product files on a timely basis, and collaborate on onboarding new indices.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Finance, or Sciences.
• 2+ years’ experience in financial/market data.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to write Python and VB macros.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Fluent English; willingness to work on some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and publish index values accurately for intraday and end-of-day data.
• Support globalization efforts for equity index coverage.
• Assist in migrating legacy products to a new tech stack.
• Research corporate actions affecting constituents using vendors and filings.
• Maintain production quality and onboard new indices and processes.
• Verify pricing and analytics data; determine disposition of exceptions.
• Prepare templates for routine research publications.
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and respond promptly.
• Collect data and perform analyses for ad-hoc client requests.
