Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange Holdings, Inc. in New York is seeking a data-centric professional to support the IDI product team in designing, verifying, and releasing new index builds. The role involves working with Python, Excel, and large datasets to analyze bond analytics and index constituents.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in Math, Finance, Engineering, Physics or Technology.
• Proficiency with Python and Microsoft Excel tools and formulas.
• Good Windows Office skills (Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiar with SQL scripts (a plus).
• Professional CFA/CIPM are also a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build bespoke and standard indices and prototypes to meet client demand.
• Verification of new index builds and validation of calculated data.
• Work with Python and large spreadsheets including index and securities data.
• Analyze, interpret, and validate data and analytics at bond and index level.
• Work with databases and carry out analysis using Excel tools and/or Python.
• Learn ICE Index Platform and use its tools (Index Constituents, Profiling tool, Data Download, Custom Index tool).
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify workflow efficiencies and process improvements.
• Ad hoc research or data analysis to support IDI product team globally.
