Job summary

The Recovery Village IAFF Center of Excellence in Upper Marlboro, MD is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join a unique program serving first responders for PTSD and related challenges. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy in a residential setting, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with medical teams.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Licensed in Maryland to practice social work or related behavioral health field.
• CPR and BFA certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a residential treatment setting.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate group sessions and psychoeducation.
• Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and clinical teams to support patient progress.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation (with support from Heather AI).
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.

It is a haven for members to talk with others who have faced or overcome similar challenges.

Job Duties

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in a residential treatment setting
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate group sessions and psychoeducation
• Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and clinical teams to support patient progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation (with support from Heather AI)
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care

Qualifications and Requirements

• Masters’ Degree in social work, psychology, or related human services field required.
• Licensed in the State of Maryland to practice required in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health counselor or other behavioral health-related field.
• LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical)
• LCMFT (Licensed Clinical Marriage & Family Therapist)
• LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor)
• LCADC (Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor)
• Licensed PhD/PsyD
• Experience with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• CPR and BFA Certification required.
