Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking MDs or DOs to leave hospital politics and administrative burnout and return to practicing pure medicine. As a mobile wound care physician and independent contractor, you will deliver hands-on care to a geriatric population in nursing facilities, make clinical decisions, and manage outcomes while we handle the rest.

We offer true autonomy as an independent contractor with no overhead and uncapped earning potential.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.
• Note: you do not need to have completed a full residency program and do not need to be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities.
• Make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes.
• Operate as a mobile wound care physician with no overhead; we handle the contracts and billing.
