Job summary

GOODWILL IND OF THE CHESAPEAKE INC in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Custodial Grounds Associate for a regular full-time role. You will maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse exterior and interior, manage daily routines with minimal supervision, and support routine and deep-cleaning tasks.

The position requires physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial and/or grounds maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building exterior and grounds, including litter removal.
• Sweep, mop floors, and spot-clean spills; keep entryways clean.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies.
• Maintain breakroom and common areas; manage trash and recycling.
• Perform rotating weekly deep-cleaning tasks across the facility.
• Notify supervisor when supplies need replenishment or repairs.
• Identify and report safety hazards promptly.
• Work cooperatively with supervisor and coworkers; monitor forklift/vehicle traffic.
• Perform other duties as needed.
