Job summary

GOODWILL IND OF THE CHESAPEAKE INC in Baltimore, MD seeks a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for full-time recycling operations. You will safely operate forklifts, bale materials, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse while supporting donation processing and customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, labeling, equipment maintenance, and adhering to safety procedures. Requires a forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred with at least 3 months of related warehouse experience.
• Active forklift operator’s certification or earned within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto pallets, bins or trucks.
• Properly bales materials and donated goods.
• Operate warehouse equipment including balers, manual and electrical hand jacks and forklifts and document accidents per procedures.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles using baling equipment.
