Job summary

Nationwide Trailers is seeking an Experienced Service Technician to perform a wide range of trailer repairs with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and productivity. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and document work for invoicing and customer communication.

The role requires working with minimal supervision, owning repairs, and contributing to shop workflow and team performance. Training and ongoing skill development are supported in a fast-growing, family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of mechanical repair experience in trailers, automotive, equipment, or similar fields.
• Working knowledge of trailer systems including wiring, brakes, axles, suspensions, and structural components.
• Ability to read and follow work orders independently.
• Dependable work habits and professional communication.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
• Welding experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform mechanical, electrical, brake, axle, and wiring repairs according to company standards.
• Diagnose issues accurately and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
• Complete assigned work orders efficiently with a focus on quality and first-time fixes.
• Install parts, accessories, and equipment as required.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify worn or damaged components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
