Job summary

Catholic Charities Maine is hiring Independent Support Services Workers (ISSW1) to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes throughout Penobscot County. We are specifically looking for employees to serve consumers who reside in: Bangor, Brewer and Old Town/Orono.

Starting pay: $17.69/hour. Flexible, self-directed schedule with part-time and full-time options; mileage reimbursement; Earned Time; 401(k) with agency contribution; medical, dental and vision coverage for full-time

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable individuals.
• Able to work independently in clients' homes.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience is a plus but training available.

• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
• Strong boundaries and respect for confidentiality
• Basic computer skills
• Experience is a plus, but not required - we will train the right person

Pay & Benefits:

Starting pay: $17.69/hour

All employees receive:

• Flexible, self-directed schedule. You can build a schedule that works for you-while meeting strong community demand.
• Part-Time 1: Minimum of 12-19 hours/week, 6-9 consumers
• Part-Time 2: 20-29 hours/week
• Full-Time: 30+ hours/week
