Job summary

Overview

For seniors and adults with physical disabilities, living independently at home can be a challenge when it comes to daily living tasks. Through our statewide Independent Support Services (ISS) Program – also known as the Homemaker Services Program – Catholic Charities connects isolated seniors and physically disabled adults with a professionally supervised team of dedicated paraprofessionals who help with a variety of tasks to help them remain independent in their home.

The ISS program is currently seeking Independent Support Workers. Duties may include:

Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping tasks such as washing dishes, changing bedding, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Meal planning and preparation tasks including grocery shopping and bringing groceries into the client\'s home.
  • Running errands
  • Occasional transportation
Positions and Compensation

Positions available are: On-Call (14-18 hours/week), Part-Time (20-29 hours/week), or Full-Time (30-40 hours/week), depending on the area served.

Pay: $17.69 per hour
