Job summary

Catholic Charities Maine is seeking Independent Support Services Workers (ISSW1) to assist seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes across Oxford County, including Paris, South Paris, and Norway. Part-time, 20–29 hours per week, flexible, meaningful work with a community focus.

You will help clients stay independent, provide housekeeping, errands, transportation, companionship, and complete simple online documentation, with training as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable personal vehicle (required).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required).
• Active email address.
• Basic technology skills (required).
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., walk, climb stairs, and perform household tasks.

We are specifically looking for employees to serve consumers who reside in: Paris, South Paris, and Norway. This position will be 20-29 hours per week.

• Transport clients using your personal vehicle

What We're Looking For:

• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful individuals
• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
• Strong boundaries and respect for confidentiality
• Basic computer skills
• Experience is a plus, but not required – we will train the right person

Pay & Benefits:

Starting pay: $17.69/hour
