Family Restoration Services is seeking a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor to apply and interpret therapeutic standards for clients with substance use and emotional impairments. This is an independent contractor role and involves CBT-based skill building, SASSI evaluations, and evidence-based practice within a therapeutic community approach.

The role requires Virginia CSAC certification or equivalent, a Bachelor’s in Human Services with 3+ years’ experience, and preferred Master’s in Addiction

Formación

• CSAC certification in Virginia or equivalent recognized by VA Board; master's in Addiction Counseling preferred.
• Bachelor's in Human Services with 3+ years as CSAC; master's preferred.
• Experience with emotionally/behaviorally challenged youth; court services interface is a plus.
• 300 clock hours training across specified areas (total) as listed in the ad.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients to identify rehab goals and develop treatment plans.
• Interview clients to obtain medical history and evaluate condition.
• Coordinate with families for drug education and counseling interventions.
• Prepare clinical documentation and reports.
