Grocery Outlet is seeking an Independent Operator to run your own store with full responsibility for operations, people, and profitability. You will oversee inventory, finances, and customer experience while leading a capable team and leveraging our unique buying model to meet local demand.

Relocation is required, and the role offers uncapped earning potential based on store performance, along with comprehensive corporate support and training to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ retail store management experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for retail and customer service.
• Strong leadership and the ability to build and develop a team.
• Business acumen, including financial and operational management experience.
• Willingness to relocate and commit to the full training and onboarding process.
• A drive for success and the ability to work independently while leveraging the support of the Grocery Outlet network.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store functions, including inventory management, compliance, and financial oversight to ensure profitability and growth.
• Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing team to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
• Leverage Grocery Outlet’s buying model to order products meeting local community preferences.
• Engage with local organizations and causes in line with our mission.
• Manage financial performance including sales, margins, expenses, and profitability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store to Enhance customer experience.
• Operate store autonomously while leveraging corporate support as needed.
• There is uncapped earning potential based on store performance and a full-time schedule with flexible hours.
