Job summary

FeldCare Connects in Los Angeles is seeking a self-motivated Speech Therapist to deliver high-quality home health care to adults. The role focuses on assessing speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive needs and crafting effective treatment plans to improve communication and overall well-being.

The independent contractor will evaluate progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure personalized, quality care in home settings.

Qualifications

• Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
• Speech Therapist license and state registration.
• Completed an accredited Speech Therapist program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute a treatment program per physician referral.
• Record patient responses and modify treatment as needed.
• Instruct and monitor patients and families in speech therapy procedures.
• Make recommendations based on home setting and patient needs.
• Maintain detailed notes in the medical record.
• Review patient progress and advise physician on continuing or discontinuing therapy.
