Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Property Manager to work independently at multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors. You will assess storage needs and suggest packing/moving supplies, and help ensure spaces are ready to rent.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, cash handling, deposits, and keeping customers current with payments. You will drive between sites using your own vehicle, reimbursement provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
• Proven ability to assess customer needs and upsell products like packing/moving supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer storage needs and make product recommendations including packing/moving supplies.
• Daily storage unit inspections to ensure inventory and availability for rent.
• Audit cash drawers and perform bank deposits as part of daily tasks.
• Keep customers up to date on payments and make reminder/collection calls when needed.
• Travel between different work locations using own vehicle; mileage reimbursement available.
