Job summary

Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking a Roof Field Inspector to join our independent contractor network. You will conduct assessments on steep and high roofs, evaluate exterior and interior damage, and perform underwriting property inspections using advanced technology.

This is an Independent Contractor position with nationwide coverage, requiring a reliable vehicle and access to a lidar device. Prior roofing or insurance claims experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely navigate and inspect steep/high roofs.
• Technical ability to complete inspections in varied weather conditions.
• Professionalism in client interactions.
• Detail-oriented approach to inspections and reporting.
• Strong customer service and empathy when dealing with insureds.
• Entrepreneurial spirit to operate as an independent contractor.
• Roofing/construction background and/or insurance claims experience is a plus.
